William Moore Elementary School is a Pre-Kindergarten - 5th grade grade public school. Our student body consists of an average of 650+ students and 80+ teachers and faculty annually. Moore Elementary's mascot are the Miners. Our school, named after William K. Moore first opened in 2001, serving our community for over 20 years. The teachers and staff of William Moore Elementary School are committed to the success of our students. Our diverse team is not afraid of trying new things and making school effective, safe and fun, while keeping our nine values in mind. We believe that through high expectations and a positive learning environment, the school, parents and community are responsible partners in the educational and social growth of its students.

Principal
Principal McKenzie is proud to serve as the new principal of William K. Moore Elementary School. Before coming to Moore ES, Principal McKenzie served students in CCSD as an assistant principal and classroom teacher for almost 6 years. Before relocating to Las Vegas, Principal McKenzie served students in a variety of roles in Houston, Texas, Astana, Kazakhstan, and Abu Dhabi, United Arab Emirates for over a decade. Principal McKenzie is committed to working closely with teachers, parents, and students to ensure that all of the students at Moore ES make exceptional academic growth.
